I value the journey of each individual I see.  I strive to develop a therapeutic alliance in which individuals feel that their concerns are heard, while their unique traits are respected and implemented as tools for success and wellness.  It is my goal to express an empathic understanding of each client, and foster genuine authentic relationships which nurture emotional honesty, lending to the exploration of the unique nature of each individual’s potential as a whole person.

I use an integrated approach to therapy, recognizing the unique aspects that make up each individual. This approach often includes Narrative, Person-centered, and Psychodynamic theories.  I am also trained in EMDR therapy.  One of my core philosophies in counseling views the therapeutic relationship as the cornerstone for all growth and change in any type of session. My areas of clinical focus and interest are:

  • Grief and Loss
  • Couples/Families
  • Depression
  • Traumas/PTSD
  • Anxiety
  • Health and Wellness
