In times of stress it is difficult to know if or when seeing a counselor is right for you or your child. While there is never a right or wrong time, finding a counselor you feel comfortable with is key.
I provide a warm and welcoming space for individuals and/or families to slow down, share their hopes, thoughts, and concerns, learn new skills, and find a better balance in their lives.
When working with children and adolescents, I provide space for both the parent(s) and youth to discuss what is important to them and find ways to live better together.
I utilize evidence-based therapies including Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed CBT, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy practices. These are proven to assist with a range of concerns related to attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, bi-polar disorder, and relational problems. We will decide together on which therapies and skills to use, based on your specific needs and wants. I look forward to meeting and working together with you!
