Fred is a Licensed Professional Counselor. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Arts degree from Oakland University. Additionally Fred has been trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, an attachment focused approach, and EMDR. His theoretical approach blends Humanistic, Existential, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. Fred has over twenty years experience in the mental health field including experience in long term inpatient hospital, and Community Mental Health, settings. Former clients describe Fred as “accepting” and “easy to talk to”.
Fred is experienced in providing individual and family therapy for issues of adjustment/transition challenges, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and mental health concerns.
Fred currently accepts most insurances, as well as private pay which can be discussed with him prior to initial meeting.
