permits practice under the supervision of a Michigan licensed psychologist.
Dr. Albert received her Doctor of Clinical and Humanistic Psychology from the
Michigan School of Professional Psychology. She believes that a healthy quality
of life stems from heightened self awareness, a foundation of cores values,
well developed relationships, and a keen focus on the connection between mind,
body, and spirit.
Dr. Albert’s areas of expertise include relationship therapy, Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome,
ADHD, attachment issues, mood disorders, play therapy for children, severe emotional
disorders, and parental issues. She has conducted therapy in a clinical setting as well as in the
homes of clients. Dr. Albert offers education on how children develop and techniques to
foster peacefulness within the home, all done in an environment where parents have the
freedom to explore the experience of being primary nurturers.
Dr. Albert is a dedicated advocate for people with special needs. She has received recognition
for her success from around the world and has presented at several conferences in the United
States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Europe.
