Dr. Cleck has met stringent practice standards and criteria to be
deemed a specialist in the following areas: Child and Adolescent Specialist
and Alcohol and Subtance Abuse therapy.
Dr. Cleck has received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School
of Professional Psychology. She received her Master degree in Social Work from
Eastern University and a post graduate degree in clinical psychology.
Dr. Cleck has worked with a variety of populations ranging from substance abuse
inpatient and outpatient treatment, psychiatric inpatient services, community mental
health in Oakland County. Dr. Cleck has worked at Affirmations, has taught and supervised
social workers, and works with all age groups individually and in group or family settings.
Dr. Cleck also has experience doing couples therapy. Dr. Cleck is also trained to complete
psychological assessments if needed. Dr. Cleck is a member of the National Association of
Social Workers (NASW), American Psychological Association (APA), and the Michigan
Association of Play Therapy (APT).
Dr. Cleck's professional interests are trauma, attachment, mental health concerns, and
improving relationships with self and others. Her overall approach to treatment is a holistic,
mind-body focused stance appreciating individual uniqueness and gifts.
