Dr. Jhaveri-Mehta has earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School
of Professional Psychology. She is also trained in Level I EMDR therapy. Additionally, she
teaches several psychology courses including introduction to psychology and child psychology
at undergraduate level.
Dr. Jhaveri-Mehta works with adults, couples, families, adolescents, and children of all age
groups. Her professional expertise includes working with anxiety, depression, grief, suicide,
trauma, relationship concerns, aging, dual diagnosis with substance abuse, anger, and diversity
related issues. She often uses EMDR in treatment of PTSD. Dr. Jhaveri-Mehta does complete
psychological assessments for ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Aptitude testing, personality
assessments, and evaluations for surgery. Additionally, she did her pre-doctoral training in
Neuropsychological evaluations with focus on epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and
other conditions.
Dr. Jhaveri-Mehta is a student affiliate member of both American Psychological Association
(APA) and Michigan Psychological Association (MPA) since 2006.

Dr. Jhaveri-Mehta is multi-lingual and fluent in the following lanugages: English, Urdu, Hindi
