Melina Bologna has met stringent practice standards and criteria to be deemed
a specialist in the following areas: Alcohol/Substance Abuse, Dual Diagnosis
and Anxiety Disorders.
Melina graduated from Oakland University in 1995 with a Master of Art’s degree in
Guidance and Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of
Michigan and is also a Nationally Board Certified Counselor. Melina has worked with a wide
variety of children, adolescents and adults counseling them on various issues. She specializes
in anxiety disorders, depression, family and relationship dysfunctions. She also has experience
working with substance abuse and Michigan Driver’s License reinstatement applicants.
Melina did her clinical internship at Macomb Family Services, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan under
the direct supervision of Lawrence Wentworth, PhD. She has also worked at Perspectives of
Troy and the Community, Assessment and Referral agency for Macomb County (C.A. R.E).
