Counselor
Lisa completed her Master’s in Counseling at Oakland University and her BA at
Albion College. She holds 2 counseling specializations: School Counseling and
Wellness Counseling. Lisa spent 6 years as a School Guidance Counselor and
believes that her work in the schools offers a unique perspective in private practice.
She specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and families, but
embraces the opportunity to make a difference in the life of anyone desiring to live
a fuller, happier, more balanced life. She is a certified Love & Logic Parent Trainer
and authored an in-depth research paper: The Impact of Divorce on Children and
Society’s Responses to Their Needs.
Lisa is dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential. She provides an empathetic,
holistic and solution-focused approach to counseling individuals, couples and families. She
integrates traditional psychological counseling treatment with mind, body, spirit elements that
enhance and promote personal and interpersonal growth, wholeness and well-being.
Lisa currently is accepting clients with PPOM (Cofinity), Aetna, and HAP insurances and also
accepts private pay – which can be discussed with the therapist.
