Certified Counselor, she is supervised by Elyce Cron, Ph.D., L.P.C.
Cara works primarily with adults and adolescents in individual and group therapy.
Cara’s counseling experience includes working with individuals struggling with
“coming out” concerns, anxiety, depression, psychosis, grief, suicide, trauma,
self-injury, marital difficulties, relationship concerns, weight struggles and anger. Cara
specializes in anxiety, the “coming out” process, grief, and sexual trauma.
Cara believes in a personal approach to therapy while following evidence-based treatment
plans. By far the most common statement from clients beginning therapy for the first time is
that they feel like “something is wrong with me.” Cara normalizes the process for clients and
empowers them to achieve their own goals and dreams.
Insurances accepted: PPOM (Cofinity), Aetna, HAP. Private pay is also an option upon
discussion with therapist.
