Laura has a master's degree in psychology from the University of Buenos Aires,
Argentina. She also holds a specialist in psychology post graduate degree from
the Michigan School of Professional Psychology (MiSPP). Laura is currently
a third year doctoral student in Humanistic and Clinical Psychology at MiSPP.
Laura specializes in anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, self-esteem issues, and
codependency. She enjoys working with multicultural clients. Although Laura's treatments are
based on the clients' needs, she specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic
therapy and humanistic therapy. Her professional interest is in Eating Disorders. Laura's
dissertation topic is on excessive exercising bulimics.
Laura works with adults and adolescents in individual therapy, family therapy and group
therapy. She is fluent in Spanish, and can conduct psychotherapy both in English and in
Spanish.
